Importance of having a mundane day!

A day before the holiday/weekend is the best, not keeping the alarm, and the happiness at which we sleep late at night or to sleep whenever we get really sleepy without looking at the clock is unmatchable!

Waking up in the morning with no alarm or loud noise, but to see the sun peeking through the window, quiet breakfast of one of your favourite dish and a cup full of chai/coffee is what kickstart the awesome mundane day.

Just feeling the morning sun and looking around the plants and in company of grass touching your feet.

Washing clothes, dusting and swiping your room and making lunch so that you can have the whole day for you doing just nothing!

Having good long shower and having that simple lunch and then just sleeping or lying on your bed or on garden grass staring at the ceiling, sky or clouds just gazing and not bothered of time, thinking something or nothing at all!

Listen to the birds chirping, the insects crawling around or let them be just like you.

Having a mundane-staring-at-the-ceiling/sky-day is so necessary, it’s not always important to have a weekend plan or travel plan or workout plan. Give it a rest, such mundane day actually re-energizes our well being too and this nothingness is as important as something. Let you body and mind rest a day from all the thinking and be just blank or just BE.

Then watching your favourite series or movie till evening comes realizing that your weekend has ended, still making it up with a cup of chai/coffee looking outside the balcony seeing kids playing in the ground.

This ends the mundane but a satisfying holiday with nothingness and setting alarm for the next day of course.

So, have that wholesome mundane day! Enjoy, I love it, you will too.
